This is the second album with this trio. This album is a result of how Fontana Re:Mix today works in the recording studio. They use it as a musical tool; a creative instrument.
Free improvisation is always the beginning and structure of the music and playing. Lots of recorded material is later edited, reshaped and transformed into songs and small pieces.
Sometimes the original improvisation stays unchanged, but shortened. This way of working is a long process of listening, creating and producing.
he result is a special re-mix and a type of music that goes beyond borders and traditions.
Fontana Re:Mix are: Magnus Alexanderson, plays guitar, loops and electronics. Björn Hellström, plays bass clarinet, soprano saxophone, bass flute. All with electronic preparation and loops.
Lars “Lachen” Jonsson, sings and plays sampled keyboards, harmonium, violin, percussion, bass guitar, harmonica, loops and sounds.
The album is recorded and produced in The Forest studio of Bauta Records, during 2021 – 2025. It is released both on CD and on several digital streaming platforms
